The Princess of Slumberland

A long time ago there was a great artist and illustrator who drew the story of a little boy who was always trying to make his way to Slumberland. There was a little princess waiting for him to arrive so she would have someone to play with. 

Over the course of many years this comic became a staple and an epic influence of countless other imaginings, movies, books, comics, and animations. But in all that time, I couldn’t help but wonder to myself. What was the little princess doing all that time she was waiting for the boy to arrive.
